A fairly new dual carriageway from Newark to Loughborough, in theory a fast course, but not today! It was so windy there were diehard testers refusing to race....However, same for everyone or is it?! All top 'normal' National level guys were above 20 mins, but rumour spread that someone had done an 18-30 - couldn't be, impossible in those conditions....but it was true, my first (and not last) encounter with Dan Bigham, the aero king! Amazing ride...
As for me....still struggling for what I expect on the new Trek....very frustrating....
